Yamaha Launches EC-06 E-Scooter with 169 km Range, Double Disc Brakes

• Yamaha has officially entered the electric scooter segment with the launch of its first e-scooter, the EC-06, priced at Rs 1,67,600 (ex-showroom, Delhi).
• The EC-06 boasts a 169 km range on a single charge, powered by a 4 kWh fixed battery and an IPMSM motor delivering 26 Nm torque and 6.7 kW peak power.
• Key features include double disc brakes (200 mm front and rear) with a combi brake system, telescopic front fork, LED lighting, and a color LCD display.
• It offers three riding modes (Eco, Standard, Power) plus a reverse mode, and connects with the Yamaha Motor Connect R app for smart features.
• The e-scooter is developed in India, comes with a 3-year/30,000 km battery warranty, and is available in Bluish White through Blue Square showrooms.
