MG Majestor Launching Feb 12: India's First D+ SUV to Rival Fortuner Legender
•JSW MG Motor India will launch the MG Majestor on February 12, positioning it as India's first D+ SUV.
•The Majestor will be the top-tier internal combustion engine (ICE) SUV in MG's lineup, competing with Toyota Fortuner Legender and Volkswagen Tayron R-Line.
•Larger than the MG Gloster, the Majestor is based on the global-spec Maxus D90, featuring a bold design with vertically stacked LED headlamps and connected LED taillamps.
•Expected features include a large touchscreen, digital instrument cluster, panoramic sunroof, ventilated seats, and advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS).
•It will likely be powered by a 2.0-litre twin-turbo diesel engine (215hp, 480Nm) with an 8-speed automatic transmission and 4x4 system, priced between Rs 39 lakh and Rs 45 lakh (ex-showroom).
