AM/NS India CEO Dilip Oommen to Retire; Amit Harlalka Named Successor

ArcelorMittal Nippon Steel (AM/NS) India CEO Dilip Oommen will retire on June 30 after 22 years with the company, including seven as CEO.
•
Amit Harlalka, current CFO, will take over as the new CEO starting July 1.
•
Oommen will remain associated with AM/NS India as a board member and will serve as Vice-Chairman at ArcelorMittal India Private Limited.
•
Harlalka joined AM/NS India in December 2019, became CFO in January 2023, and previously held finance leadership roles at ArcelorMittal globally.
•
The leadership transition occurs as AM/NS India expands operations, focusing on steel production and renewable energy investments.
