RITES secures ₹729 crore revised estimate for Mysuru-Mangaluru rail electrification

• RITES Ltd received revised estimates from South Western Railway for the Mysuru–Hassan–Mangaluru railway electrification project.
• The work, including the Hassan–Arsikere section, is awarded on a cost-plus turnkey basis.
• The revised project cost stands at ₹729.28 crore, excluding GST, and includes RITES fees.
• The company reported a 2% YoY rise in net profit to ₹102 crore and a 5.7% revenue increase to ₹608.6 crore in the December quarter.
• RITES recently secured a $20.6 million international order from ICVL Mozambique for locomotive supply and maintenance.
