Dharmesh Mehta: Indian-Origin Amazon Leader Becomes CEO Andy Jassy's Technical Advisor

• Dharmesh Mehta, VP of Worldwide Selling Partner Services (SPS), has been appointed as CEO Andy Jassy's Technical Advisor (TA) starting in March.
• Amit Agarwal, SVP of International Emerging Stores, will succeed Mehta as the head of the SPS division.
• Mehta has over 12 years of experience at Amazon, leading SPS and Customer Trust teams, and under his leadership, independent sellers now account for over 60% of units sold.
• Agarwal, with nearly 27 years at Amazon, will also continue to oversee Amazon's Stores businesses in 10 countries, including India, Brazil, and Mexico.
• Before Amazon, Mehta held senior roles at Microsoft (Outlook.com, OneDrive) and Bain & Company, and founded an education-focused software company.
