The Estée Lauder Companies has agreed to acquire the remaining stake in Indian luxury Ayurvedic beauty brand Forest Essentials.
•
This expands a partnership that began nearly two decades ago; Estée Lauder first invested in 2008 and increased its holding to 49% in 2020.

Founded in 2000 by Mira Kulkarni, Forest Essentials operates nearly 200 stores and is India's top prestige skincare brand.
•
Mira Kulkarni and her son Samrath Bedi will continue to oversee the brand, which will remain headquartered in New Delhi.
•
The deal reinforces Estée Lauder's long-term commitment to India, aiming to scale the brand globally while preserving its identity.
