Inactive EPFO Accounts: Govt To Send Balance Directly To Your Bank

•Ministry of Labour and Employment to refund money from inactive EPF accounts with balances up to Rs 1,000.
•Over six lakh inoperative accounts with balances up to Rs 1,000 will benefit from this initiative.
•Subscribers do not need to take any action; the amount will be sent directly to Aadhaar-linked bank accounts.
•The direct refund initiative is only for accounts with balances up to Rs 1,000.
•An EPFO account becomes inactive if there's no contribution or transaction for three consecutive years.
