Bengaluru IT Officer Duped of Rs 31 Lakh Gold, Silver by 'Parrot Astrologer'

• He lost gold and silver ornaments worth over Rs 31 lakh, including 194 grams of gold and 1.3 kg of silver.
• The accused, Shekar, promised special rituals to boost luck and secure a job transfer.
• Shekar initially took Rs 50,000, then convinced Sathyanarayan to hand over valuables for "bigger rituals."
• The astrologer disappeared with the valuables; Bharathi Nagar Police have registered a case and are searching for him.
