Four rescued child laborers, aged 13-16, escaped from a moving vehicle in Bengaluru on April 2, disappearing into heavy traffic.

The children were rescued a day earlier from BMTC bus station in Majestic, brought to Bengaluru by a man named Brijesh to work as painters.

The incident occurred near an Urdu school on Mysore Road; the boys opened the unsecured back door of the Mahindra Bolero and fled into a side lane.

A case has been registered at Cottonpet police station under Section 137(2) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita for kidnapping.
•
Authorities are reviewing CCTV footage and investigating potential trafficking, though children may have sought employment willingly.
