Malleswaram to Implement Pay-and-Park System: Hourly Charges for Vehicles

• Bengaluru's Malleswaram, a busy shopping hub, will soon introduce a pay-and-park system on seven key streets to tackle traffic congestion.
• The Greater Bengaluru Authority (GBA) has floated a tender for paid parking facilities on roads including Sampige Road, 18th Road, and 2nd Main Road.
• Cars will be charged Rs. 30 per hour, and two-wheelers Rs. 15 per hour, with daily passes also planned.
