•19 young men from Munshi Kheda, UP, who donated blood over 6 months, tested positive for Hepatitis B.
•All affected donors are under 40 years of age; initial tests confirmed by Lohia Institute of Medical Sciences.
•Health Department and Balrampur Hospital teams visited affected villages to assess the situation.
•CMO Dr NB Singh stated samples sent to KGMU for further testing; comprehensive screening planned if confirmed.
•Hepatitis B is a viral liver infection that spreads silently and can lead to serious complications like cirrhosis or cancer.
