Lucknow Shock: 19 Blood Donors Test Hepatitis B Positive, Sparks Village Uproar

• 19 young men from Munshi Kheda, Lucknow, who donated blood, have all tested positive for Hepatitis B.
• The blood donation camp was organized by a spiritual organization in Munshi Kheda, with a team from Balrampur Hospital conducting the donation.
• The infected individuals, all under 40, are from villages including Jalamau, Tarouna, Munshi Kheda, Saspan, Anipur, and Sahijna.
• Initial tests at Lohia Institute of Medical Sciences confirmed all 19 samples were Hepatitis B positive after three initial positives.
• CMO Dr. NB Singh confirmed 13 samples sent to KGMU for re-testing; further village-wide testing planned if results remain positive.
