CBSE to Implement On-Screen Marking for Class 12 Board Exams from 2026

• CBSE introduces On-Screen Marking (OSM) for Class 12 board exam evaluations starting 2026.

• OSM will eliminate totalling mistakes, automate coordination, and broaden teacher participation from their own schools.
• Schools must establish necessary infrastructure: computer lab with static IP, updated computers, reliable internet, and UPS.
• Teachers of Classes 11 and 12 must update data on OASIS portal by February 13, 2026, for mandatory OSM training.
