India's ACC Battery Demand to Skyrocket to 700GWh by Mid-2040s: IESA Report

• Electric vehicles (EVs) are expected to drive approximately 60% of total battery demand in 2025, increasing to 74-77% by 2047, with the EV market growing at over 30% CAGR through 2035.
• Stationary energy storage deployment will accelerate post-2030, growing at over 23% CAGR through 2035, crucial for renewable energy integration and grid balancing.
• Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) batteries are forecast to constitute over 60% of total battery demand by 2047 due to cost-effectiveness, thermal stability, and safety.
