Cabinet Greenlights Rs 12,236 Crore Infra Boost: Rail, Metro, Aviation Projects Approved

•Union Cabinet approves Rs 12,236 crore for major infrastructure and policy decisions.
•Key projects include doubling Gondia-Jabalpur rail line (Rs 5,236 crore) and new rail lines between Punarkh-Kiul (Rs 2,668 crore) and Gamharia-Chandil (Rs 1,168 crore).
•Aviation gets a boost with a new integrated airport terminal at Srinagar (Rs 1,667 crore).
•Urban connectivity enhanced with Ahmedabad Metro Phase 2B extension (Rs 1,067 crore).
•Policy reforms include power sector changes, MSP for raw jute (Rs 430 crore), and renaming Kerala to Keralam.
