5.4 Magnitude Earthquake Jolts Dhaka, Tremors Felt Across Kolkata

•A 5.4 magnitude earthquake struck Agargaon district in Dhaka, Bangladesh on Friday, February 27.
•Tremors from the quake were felt in Kolkata and adjacent districts in West Bengal.
•The earthquake occurred around 1:22 pm, with its epicenter in Nayabazar, Bangladesh, approximately 100 km from Kolkata.
•The tremors, lasting about 10 seconds, caused people to rush out of buildings as a precautionary measure.
•No damage to property or aftershocks were immediately reported following the incident.
