ED Probe Reaches Burj Khalifa in Rs 1,700 Crore Mahadev Betting App Case

• The Enforcement Directorate's investigation into the Mahadev app case now includes properties in Dubai's Burj Khalifa.
• Properties worth Rs 1,700 crore have been attached, including apartments in Dubai Hills Estate, Fairway Residency, Sidra, Business Bay, SLS Hotel & Residences, and a flat in Burj Khalifa.
• These properties are linked to Sourabh Chandrakar, a key promoter of the Mahadev Online Book betting platform, acquired from illegal betting proceeds.
• The Mahadev app case involves an alleged illegal betting platform routing thousands of crores through fake identities, shell companies, overseas call centres, and a hawala network.
• Promoters Sourabh Chandrakar and Ravi Uppal controlled the operation from Dubai, with Uppal currently suspected to be in Vanuatu after fleeing.
