J&K Snowfall: Over 30 Vehicles Stranded in Kishtwar; Massive Rescue Operation Underway

More than 30 light motor vehicles were stranded in Sinthan Top and Margan Top, Kishtwar district, due to moderate snowfall on March 15.
•
A joint rescue operation by police, Army, and civil administration is underway to assist stranded passengers.
•
Vehicles got stuck due to fresh snowfall and slippery road conditions on the route connecting Kishtwar with Anantnag.
•
Snow clearance machines are deployed from both Kishtwar and Anantnag sides; all passengers are reported safe.
•
Mughal Road traffic also suspended due to snowfall at Pir Ki Gali; commuters advised to avoid affected stretches.
