IAF's Vayu Shakti 2026: Live Weapons, Frontline Fighters Near Pakistan Border

• The Indian Air Force will conduct Exercise Vayu Shakti 2026 at Pokaran Field Firing Range in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan, on February 27.
• The exercise, held near the Pakistan border, will showcase live armament firing and operational capabilities to guests from 40 countries.
• Frontline fighter jets like Su-30MKI, Rafale, LCA, and Mirage will strike simulated enemy targets, demonstrating advanced weapon systems.
• IAF units from across the country will perform missions including Defensive Counter Air, Offensive Counter Air, and Suppression of Enemy Air Defence.
• For the first time, women officers and pilots will participate in both combat and support operations, highlighting gender inclusivity.
