India approves ₹3,839 Cr for 4-lane NH-752D upgrade, boosting Ujjain-Delhi-Mumbai connectivity
- •Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs approves ₹3,839.42 crore for 80.45 km four-lane Badnawar–Thandla section of NH-752D.
- •Project connects Ujjain to Timrawani interchange on Delhi–Mumbai Expressway, reducing travel time by about one hour.
- •Upgrades current 5.5m intermediate lane to 4 lanes, enabling speeds of 80-100 kmph from Ujjain to Delhi-Mumbai Expressway.
- •Strengthens inter-state connectivity, aids Simhastha Kumbh Mela 2028 traffic, and passes through tribal areas of Dhar and Jhabua districts.
- •Expected to reduce logistics costs, support economic development, and improve access to industrial hubs like Indore, Pithampur, Ujjain, Dewas.
