• Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M K Stalin inaugurated the Rs 249 crore FinTech Tower in Nandambakkam, Chennai, on Monday, March 2.
• The 5.56 lakh square feet facility is the first major asset of the planned 56-acre FinTech City project, aiming to make Tamil Nadu a global financial services and technology hub.
• The building features two basements, a ground floor, and 11 storeys, with its foundation stone laid in June 2023.
• The project seeks to create high-skill jobs and attract FinTech firms looking to expand beyond traditional centers like Bengaluru and Mumbai.
• CM Stalin issued allotment orders to Prime Forex Pvt Ltd, Simptra Technologies Pvt Ltd, and MidFin Wealth Pvt Ltd, marking the start of occupancy.
