•Kerala boasts India's lowest IMR at 5 deaths per 1,000 live births, significantly below the national average of 25.
•This achievement surpasses even the United States' IMR of 5.6 deaths per 1,000 live births.
•With infectious diseases no longer the primary concern, Kerala's focus shifts to childhood Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs).
