AAP Unveils First List of 14 Candidates for Assam Assembly Polls

•Aam Aadmi Party announced its first list of 14 candidates for the Assam assembly elections to be held on April 9.
•State vice-president Anurupa Dekaraja will contest from Guwahati Central, and Renuka Timungpi from Bokajan.
•Other candidates include Achyut Das (Naoboicha), Tapan Gogoi (Sivasagar), and Zahidul Islam Khan (Chenga).
•All the constituencies included on the list are located in the Brahmaputra valley.
•AAP will contest the polls without any alliance; counting of votes is scheduled for May 4.
