UP Govt Hikes Wheat MSP by ₹160, Clears 35 Proposals for Farmers & Infrastructure

Uttar Pradesh cabinet, led by CM Yogi Adityanath, approved 35 proposals, including a ₹160 per quintal hike in wheat MSP.
•
Wheat procurement will begin on March 30, 2026, and continue until June 15, 2026, across 6,500 centres in all 75 districts.
•
Eight agencies, including FCI, UP Mandi Parishad, and NAFED, will manage the procurement process.
•
Cabinet approved a ₹1,435 crore International Exhibition Center in Lucknow with a 10,000-seat convention hall.
•
Other approvals include an Integrated Manufacturing and Logistics Centre in Sambhal and the 'Navyug Palika Yojana' for smart urban centres.
