BJP Corporator's Husband Attacked in Nagpur; Close Friend Suspected

• Nikhil Shyam Simle, husband of BJP corporator Manasi Simle, critically injured in a knife attack in Nagpur.
• The attack occurred near a lake within Kotwali Police Station limits.
• Accused Mahesh alias Sonu Ganesh Thackeray, an old friend of Simle, allegedly stabbed him repeatedly over an old dispute.
• Both Simle and Thackeray were co-accused and acquitted in a previous murder case.
• Simle is in critical condition at a private hospital; Kotwali Police are investigating and have registered a case.
