Maharashtra Govt to Digitize, Secure Farm Roads; Resolve Disputes

Survey of 1,74,475 farm access roads completed under Chief Minister Baliraja Farm/Panand Road Scheme.

Each farm road will receive a unique identification number and be officially recorded on the 7/12 extract.
•
Aims to resolve long-standing boundary disputes and clear encroachments on existing roads.
•
4,963 roads cleared via 'Raste Adalats'; 7,268 cases resolved in three months.
•
Taluka and district level committees, chaired by MLAs, formed to oversee implementation.
