North India Sees Hailstorm, Maharashtra Braces for Rising Temperatures
- •Two western disturbances bring heavy rain and snowfall to Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal, and Punjab.
- •Maharashtra's minimum temperatures are set to rise by 2 to 4 degrees Celsius in the next 2-4 days, reducing morning chill.
- •Mumbai, Thane, and Palghar regions will experience warmer afternoons, with minimum temperatures between 18-22 degrees Celsius.
- •Vidarbha and Marathwada, previously cold, will also see rising temperatures.
- •While rain probability is low, North Maharashtra and Khandesh may see partly cloudy skies; dense fog expected in Western Maharashtra ghats and parts of Vidarbha on Jan 24-25.
Why It Matters: North India faces hailstorms, but Maharashtra will experience warmer days and reduced chill due to changing winds.
