SRPF Officer Murdered in Nagpur Over Daughter's Harassment; Three Arrested

• A 45-year-old SRPF officer was murdered in Matoshri Nagar, Nagpur, after confronting a youth harassing his minor daughter.
• The officer had previously warned the accused, Akash Mandal, who was loitering near his house.
• On Thursday night, Akash Mandal, along with his brother Harshit Mandal and mother Pushpa Mandal, attacked the officer with iron rods.
• The officer's brother-in-law was also seriously injured while intervening; the officer died during treatment.
• All three accused, including Pushpa Mandal, a police department clerk, have been arrested; MIDC police are investigating.
