ACME Solar Shares Jump 8% on New Rajasthan Battery Storage Project Commissioning
•ACME Solar Holdings Ltd. shares surged over 8% after commissioning a new battery energy storage system (BESS) project in Rajasthan.
•The company commissioned 142.67 MW / 481.49 MWh of BESS capacity in Phase 1, part of a total planned 585 MW / 2,011.24 MWh.
•The Rajasthan BESS project is connected to the Inter-State Transmission System and will initially operate on a merchant basis to generate additional revenue.
•In the long term, these storage systems will integrate with the company’s FDRE projects under long-term power purchase agreements of up to 25 years.
•Battery energy storage systems enhance grid reliability, optimize power utilization, and improve overall grid stability by balancing supply and demand.
