Authum Investment Sells Part of SpiceJet Promoter Pledge, Shares in Focus

• Authum Investment invoked pledged shares amounting to a 6.8% stake in SpiceJet Ltd. on February 27.
• Authum acquired 10.37 crore equity shares of SpiceJet on February 25 by invoking pledged shares related to outstanding dues of Spice Healthcare Pvt. Ltd.
• The shares, originally held by promoter Ajay Singh, were pledged as security against borrower’s obligations.
• 6 crore shares have been sold, while 4.37 crore shares (2.86% stake) remain in Authum’s demat account as ongoing security.
• SpiceJet shares ended 9.81% higher at ₹15.90 on Thursday, but are down 47% year-to-date in 2026.
