Bharat PET files DRHP for ₹760 crore IPO: Fresh issue, OFS, and expansion plans

• Bharat PET Ltd has filed its DRHP with SEBI for an initial public offering to raise ₹760 crore.
• The IPO includes a fresh issue of equity shares worth up to ₹120 crore and an Offer For Sale (OFS) of up to ₹640 crore by promoters.
• Proceeds from the fresh issue will be used for repayment of borrowings (₹50 crore) and purchase of machinery (₹35.8 crore).
• Bharat PET, incorporated in 1998, manufactures rigid packaging products, primarily serving the agrochemical industry with an 11% market share.
• The company reported a revenue of ₹411.82 crore and a profit after tax of ₹50.99 crore for FY25.
