•Benchmark indices closed higher for the second consecutive session; Sensex gained 568 points to 76,071, Nifty rose 172 points to 23,581.
•Market breadth was positive with a 3:2 advance-decline ratio; Midcap index snapped a four-day losing streak, climbing 559 points.
•Nifty Bank gained 463 points, and Nifty Auto extended its rally, rising over 2%.
•Top Nifty gainers included Eternal, Tata Steel, M&M, HDFC Life, and BEL; BEL secured a ₹1,011 crore order.
•MOIL surged 19% on plans for 9 lakh tonnes manganese production; Electronics manufacturers Cyient DLM, Amber Enterprises, Syrma SGS Technology gained after JPMorgan upgrade.
