PFC approves ₹1.6 lakh crore borrowing plan for FY27, declares dividend

• Power Finance Corporation (PFC) has approved a borrowing plan of up to ₹1.6 lakh crore for FY27 to support the power sector.
• The borrowing includes ₹1.1 lakh crore via domestic instruments, ₹20,000 crore through foreign currency borrowings, and ₹20,000 crore for short-term funding.
• PFC announced a fourth interim dividend of ₹3.25 per share for FY26, with a record date of March 23, 2026, and payout by April 16, 2026.
• The company reported strong Q3 FY24 results: Net interest income rose 19.4% to ₹5,606.5 crore, and net profit increased 14.6% to ₹4,763.3 crore.
• Asset quality improved, with gross credit impaired assets ratio at 1.64% and net ratio at 0.37%, supported by a sharp decline in provisions.
