RVNL Bags ₹242 Crore South Central Railway Order for OHE Upgrade

• RVNL received a Letter of Acceptance (LoA) from South Central Railway for a ₹242 crore project.
• The contract involves designing, supplying, erecting, testing, and commissioning overhead equipment (OHE) upgrades.
• The project will upgrade the existing 1x25kV system to a 2x25kV AT feeding system, including feeder and earthing works.
• Scope covers the Ongole (OGL) to Gudur (GDR) section under the Vijayawada Division, spanning 154 RKM/462 TKM.
• The project is to be executed within 24 months and strengthens RVNL’s presence in railway infrastructure.
