RITES Wins ₹45 Cr Muriganga Bridge Project in West Bengal; Shares Up 2.58%

RITES Ltd secured a ₹45.19 crore project management consultancy contract from West Bengal's Public Works (Roads) Directorate.
•
The contract involves a four-lane extradosed bridge over the Muriganga river, connecting Kachuberia (Sagar Island) with Kakdwip (South 24 Parganas).
•
RITES will provide design and construction supervision as the Authority Engineer for the 48-month project.
•
Separately, RITES received revised estimates for the ₹729.28 crore Mysuru–Hassan–Mangaluru railway electrification project.
•
RITES shares closed up 2.58% at ₹207.00 on the BSE following the news.
