Mithi River Flyover to Ease Western Express Way Traffic Jams

•BMC plans new flyover over Mithi River to alleviate traffic on Western Express Way.
•The flyover will connect Fisherman Colony on Senapati Bapat Road in Mahim to Bandra East.
•Estimated cost for the 1.5 to 2.5 km long bridge is Rs 220 crore 17 lakh.
•Project aims to resolve persistent traffic congestion from Bandra East Mithi Creek to Senapati Bapat Marg.
•Contractor will be responsible for obtaining CRZ and Forest Department permissions.
