Mumbai's First Double-Decker Creek Flyover Approved: Metro & Cars to Run Together

•Mumbai to get its first double-decker creek flyover over Naigaon Creek, connecting Mira-Bhayandar to Vasai-Virar.
•The 4.98 km bridge will allow Metro Line 13 on the upper level and vehicular traffic on the lower level.
•Expected to save commuters 45-60 minutes of travel time, significantly reducing current detours.
•MMRDA approved the project after a feasibility study by Delhi Metro Rail Corporation.
•Metro Line 9 (Dahisar to Mira-Bhayandar) will extend to Vasai-Virar via this new Metro Line 13, easing traffic congestion.
