Thieves Caught in Gutter After Stealing 15 Lakhs in Navi Mumbai

• Two thieves, Salman Khan (25) and Abdul Khan (20), were caught hiding in a gutter in Nerul Sector 16 after stealing copper wire.
• The theft caused a loss of approximately 15 lakh rupees to MTNL and disrupted telecommunication services.
• MTNL officials discovered the theft when wires were cut in the Poonam Tower area; Deputy Manager Pradeepkumar Vishwakarma found the thieves red-handed.
• The accused, residents of Mumbra, had cut 560 meters of copper wire and are seasoned criminals involved in past thefts.
• Nerul police have registered a case and arrested the duo, as citizens demand strict action against such criminals.
