Bihar's First Women Farmers' School Opens: Learn Modern Farming, Earn Millions!

Bihar Agricultural University (BAU) Sabour, Bhagalpur, launches the state's first women farmers' training center and agricultural school.

Aims to empower women by training them in modern farming, indoor farming, and terrace gardening techniques.

Dr. Duniya Ram Singh, Vice-Chancellor of BAU, stated the center will be a milestone, moving beyond Jeevika for women's employment.
•
Training covers mushroom production, Katarni paddy cultivation, vegetable production, nursery management, and horticulture, focusing on innovative and eco-friendly practices.
•
BAU will provide financial assistance post-training through banks or government schemes to help women start their agricultural ventures.
