Bihar Police Officer Heroically Saves Woman and Child from Suicide on Vikramshila Bridge

• SI Sikandar Kumar of Dial 112, Naugachhia, saved Jeera Devi and her 3-month-old child from jumping off the Vikramshila Bridge.
• The officer, on his way to duty, spotted the woman attempting suicide and quickly pulled her back by her saree.
• Jeera Devi, a resident of Raghopur Bahtra, Naugachhia, was driven to suicide due to domestic abuse and her husband's affair.
• She had a love marriage 10 years ago with Saurav of Shankarpur and has two children, a 5-year-old son and a 3-month-old daughter.
• The woman was later handed over to Vikramshila TOP, and a video of the rescue has gone viral.
