BJP Spokesperson Receives Death Threats, Files Police Complaint in Patna

•BJP Bihar spokesperson Niraj Kumar filed a complaint at Kotwali Police Station regarding death threats and obscene abuses received on social media.
•Threats, including shooting a 9 mm bullet, were made in the comment section of a YouTube channel covering his X post from February 8, 2026.
•The complaint details abuses targeting family members and threats of severe harm if seen in public.
•Niraj Kumar provided screenshots of the comments as evidence to the police.
•He requested an FIR under IPC sections 153, 504, 506 and IT Act sections 66A, 67, demanding arrest of culprits and assurance for his family's safety.
