CO's Forged Signature: Rs 24 Lakh Siphoned from Govt Account in Purnia
- •A fraudulent withdrawal of Rs 24.27 lakh from a government account has been reported in Rupauli, Purnia, Bihar.
- •Nazir Shishir Kumar of Rupauli Circle Office allegedly forged the signature of Circle Officer Shivani Surbhi to siphon the funds.
- •The funds were withdrawn from the Sairat account at Rupauli Central Bank over the financial years 2024-25 and 2025-26.
- •Approximately Rs 6 lakh was transferred to Shishir Kumar's personal account, and Rs 16 lakh was withdrawn in cash.
