India: Services Activity Eases to 58.1 in Feb, Manufacturing Gathers Pace

India's services Purchasing Managers’ Index (PMI) eased to a two-month low of 58.1 in February from 58.5 in January.
•
Manufacturing PMI climbed to a four-month high of 56.9 in February, indicating stronger production momentum.
•
Despite slight moderation in services, both sectors remain in expansion territory (above 50 mark).
•
Official data shows services output grew 9.5% in Oct-Dec quarter; manufacturing expanded 13.3% in Q3.
•
India's economy grew 7.8% in Q3, with a 7.6% expansion projected for the full fiscal year.
