Kapurthala Joins Chennai: First 16-Coach Vande Bharat Rolls Out

• The new train will undergo an 'Oscillation Trial' to test speed, shock levels, and safety before passenger service.
• This expansion significantly boosts Vande Bharat production capacity, aligning with the 'Make in India' initiative.
• The indigenous train features world-class amenities like reclining seats, large windows, automatic doors, and bio-vacuum toilets.
• Vande Bharat, India's first semi-high-speed train, aims for 160 km/h, with 97 trains already operational across major states.
