ITR Forms for AY 2026-27 Notified: File Returns by July 31

• Government notifies ITR-1 to ITR-7 forms for Assessment Year 2026-27, along with ITR-V and ITR-U.
• Taxpayers, including individuals, pensioners, and professionals, can file returns by July 31, 2026.
• ITR-1 (Sahaj) is for resident individuals with income up to Rs 50 lakh from salary, one house property, and interest.
• ITR-2 is for individuals/HUFs without business/profession income, covering capital gains, multiple properties, or foreign assets.
• ITR-3 is for individuals/HUFs with proprietary business or professional income, while ITR-4 (Sugam) is for those opting for presumptive taxation.
