PRAGATI Boosts Power Sector: 237 Projects Worth ₹10.53 Lakh Crore Reviewed, Commissioned

• PRAGATI, Government of India's platform, has expedited 237 power sector projects valued at ₹10.53 lakh crore.
• 53 power projects worth ₹4.12 lakh crore were reviewed at the Prime Minister's level, including thermal, hydro, and transmission.
• 43 previously delayed projects, worth nearly ₹3 lakh crore, have been commissioned due to PRAGATI's intervention.
• Over 90% of identified issues (2,958 out of 3,162), primarily land acquisition, environmental clearances, and RoW, were resolved.
• Key companies like PGCIL, NTPC, NHPC, THDC, NEEPCO, and Sterlite Power saw significant project commissioning.
