Gurugram's New Elevated Road: Delhi, Dwarka Minutes Away, Traffic Jams End
•Gurugram Metropolitan Development Authority to build a 4.2 km signal-free elevated road for Rs 755 crore, easing traffic from South Gurugram to Dwarka Expressway.
•The road will span from Kherki Daula Toll Plaza (NH 48) to Vatika Chowk, alongside the Southern Peripheral Road, featuring a 6-lane main carriageway and service roads.
•Targeted for completion in 30 months, the project includes a large interchange at Vatika Chowk for direct connectivity to the Gurugram-Sohna Elevated Corridor.
•Benefits residents of Sectors 69-75 and commuters to Dwarka Expressway, Delhi-Jaipur Highway, and Sohna-Faridabad, bypassing busy Rajiv Chowk and Subhash Chowk.
•Reduces travel time from hours to minutes, offering a long-term solution for Gurugram's growing traffic needs, expected to be completed by 2028-29.
