Election Commission Exempts Officials from SIR Duties for HS Exams

• Election Commission exempts school inspectors and district school inspectors from SIR duties.
• Decision made to ensure smooth conduct of Higher Secondary Examination amidst SIR environment.
• Primary and upper primary teachers will serve as invigilators for the HS exams.
• Approximately 7.11 lakh candidates are appearing for the Higher Secondary exams, including various semesters and old annual system.
• Ten candidates caught with mobile phones during Madhyamik Physical Science exam; exams canceled. One candidate tore answer script in Uttar Dinajpur.
