48 Hours Left: EC Orders Observers to Report by March 18; Bengal Admin Reshuffled

•Election Commission directs all General Observers to report to their respective districts by March 18.
•One General Observer is being appointed for each assembly constituency.
•Major administrative reshuffle in Bengal: Chief Secretary Nandini Chakraborty and Home Secretary Jagadish Prasad Meena removed.
•State Police DG Piyush Pandey replaced by Siddhanath Gupta; Kolkata Police Commissioner Supratim Sarkar replaced by Ajay Kumar Nanda.
•Chief Electoral Officer calls an all-party meeting today to discuss election preparations and the Model Code of Conduct.
