Minor Girl Sold Twice: Absconding Accused Farzana Arrested After 5 Months in Surat
•A 14-year-old minor girl was lured from Limbayat, Surat, on the pretext of catering work and sold twice by two women.
•The girl was first sold to Soyab for Rs 50,000 in Laskana, but the deal failed after an attempt to force her.
•She was then taken to Solapur, Maharashtra, and sold for Rs 2 lakh to a Hindu man, forcibly married, and subjected to three months of abuse.
•After returning to Surat, a human trafficking case was registered; Nuri Sheikh and her husband Waseem Sheikh were arrested earlier.
•Main accused Farzana, absconding for 5 months, was arrested by Limbayat police in Panoli along with her brother-in-law Arif Yunus Shah, suspected of being part of a larger trafficking network.
